Teresa brings to the music a variety of instruments which include the Irish whistle, alto recorder, tenor banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, and guitars.  Her family roots are deep in the Scots Irish heritage and she feels a soul connection with the music that has crossed the ocean, the Appalachian mountains and the generations.  Teresa teaches music at the Wayne Center for the Arts.
In rural America, just a few generations ago, those who could make music were held in high regard in the community.  They were often called upon to liven the evenings on the front porch or by the fireplace and to play for the dance that was the long awaited social event of the community.  We enjoy sharing this music at jams and festivals and now bring this experience to your audience where you can be part of the music and history.  We weave this folk music with stories of legend and of our own family tree to deepen your appreciation for music.  You wont likely find this music on the radio or TV.  We are honored to play music that is so good that it has been passed through the generations for centuries. In the spirit of rebellion and in fun we will play this music till we die. We also play new folk, bluegrass & Celtic music that is the decendent of the traditional Celtic and Mt. Music.
We use a Bose amplification to provide clear sound that takes up much less space than traditional sound systems.

Our larger band adds a driving bass to add power to our band.  The four piece band is great for large venues like festivals, large concerts and dances.  There are no other bands that put on a show like ours combining this great music with the stories of how it came to be part of our culture and part of our lives.  The audience leaves not only having been entertained by just good music but also enriched and connected to a heritage that we can carry forward.
As a dance band we provide the energy, variety and power that can put the dancer into that magic zone where time and space give way to rhythm, melody and movement. If you are a dancer you may know what I mean. If not, perhaps you have never danced with a great band and caller providing the momentum to get you there.
Here is a partial list of some of our venues.
